I really wanted to love this one but to be honest Jay irritated me from the beginning… he was self centered and only ever cared about himself the whole book. The lying and cheating and plain rudeness/narcissism really made this hard to read. I liked the growth but it was such a 180 in a short period that it didn’t feel real, I felt so bad for all of the side characters the whole time. I’m glad issues were resolved but it didn’t feel real or that he was worthy of them accepting apologies so quickly.

Lou deserved better. Albert deserved WAY better. Max was cute yet beyond irritating. This book was just a massive miscommunication mess.
