I really wish more of this book had actually been about Milicent Patrick. I think at least half of it was a memoir of the author herself. There was quite a bit of discussion of modern problems, #metoo, etc., and that is fine. It might even have been appropriate. However, I was hoping for a biography of a character of old Hollywood and that is not really what I got.
Definitely not my favorite Christie. The gender conventions as plot were just painful.
