Yuzu makes new fluffy friends and learns to navigate grief, bullying, chronic illness, and animal care. This manga is both heartbreaking and adorable. Be warned.  

Great follow-up to Magical Boy, Vol. 1. I would just say the same thing
I said in my review for vol. 1, sometimes the text boxes and font were hard to follow and read. This is a needed and beautiful graphic novel. 

For fans of A Spoonful of Time by Flora Ahn and readers who enjoy exploring new ways of time travel. Since the passing of her grandfather, biracial tween Dally’s days have been boring and dull. She isn’t allowed to do much, and her mother is preparing her to take over the family business. One day, Dally finds a mysteries envelope marked with her name that holds a secret, ancient looking map that brings her to a Library of Secrets. As Dally explores adventure after adventure, including fighting alongside pirates, she begins to dive deeper into her family history and deciding how she wants to shape her future self. Full of both mystery and adventure, The Secret Library will have readers eager to find out what will happen next while also learning about important parts of history and navigating language around race in a riveting standalone fantasy.  

I have thoughts on this book I would like to share, however, I will be withholding my review for this title in solidarity with the St. Martin's Press Marketing Boycott. 

The book community is demanding three (3) things of St. Martin's:

1. Address and denounce the Islamophobia and racism from their employee.
2. Offer tangible steps for how they're going to mitigate the harm this employee caused.
3. Address how moving forward, they will support and protect their Palestinian, Muslim, and Arab readers, influencers, and authors in addition to their BIPOC readers, influencers, and authors.

This boycott is a media boycott asking influencers not to promote books from St. Martin's Press. If you are interested in supporting the authors, please still buy/borrow and read their books, just please do not promote those books on socials.
