I love Love LOVE Dr. Phang! Phinnes has been one of my favorite characters since he was introduced. He has really come a long way in the series and become a valuable asset to MacKay S&I. I enjoyed learning more about his past and meeting his little brother who is a mini Phin. I really liked the Blardonney commericals. Love Brynley and her three step rule. She's funny, strong, and independant even if she doesn't realize it. I think she's a good match for Phin. This book was exciting for me. It was nice to see Phinnes get all macho over a girl and step to the Weres yet keep his humour and easy going persona at the same time.
If it wasn't free I would have been super sad and mad that it was so short. I love Claire. I have an 11 year old and I size these little boys up constantly. I made it very clear that NO ONE with a penis is allowed to call or message my daughter. But girls! Girls are evil and manipulative. I dont' know what I would do if I had a son. Happy to see everyone is doing well and the love is still strong.
Carter Ellis you are the perfect man. Okay maybe not Perfect but definately a catch. I will be honest despite the fact that I really enjoyed this book it wasn't as good as the first. But then again the first book was like the Hangover the bar was set almost too high. I really like the timeline in this book. I was curious to see how Carter's family would react to meeting Claire and Gavin and how the two families would or wouldn't mesh. Really enjoyed Claire's mom Rachel she is a hoot. I still want to be besties with the whole gang. Devoured this book in a day. This is definately a MUST read for anyone with a sense of humor.
I am officially addicted to anything written by Tara Sivec. At the end of book two Claire kind of wrapped everything up in a nice package. So as a reader I wasn't sure where it would go from there. And when I saw that this book was about Drew and Jenny I was curious to see what kind of kinky adventures they would be having. But it was opposite! Poor Drew and Jenny are no longer sex crazed rabbits. Instead they are adjusting to parenthood and going through a serious dry spell. At first I thought that we were going to see a more serious senstive side of Drew and I'll admitt I was worried that Tara was going to ruin him for me. But that's far from the case. Drew and Jenny stayed true to their characters while dealing with the stress that life was putting on their relationship. It was also really nice to go back and see how their relationship grew during the time that Claire and Carter were dealign with their own ordeal. Best part of the book for me was the kids. As a parent who often speaks without filter and gets dirty looks by strangers on the daily it was nice to see my parenting style in black in white. Love you Tara and hope this is not the last of the Chocolate Lovers books!
