If you peeked judgmental reviews claiming that underage characters engaging in sex is kiddie porn, IGNORE that shit. The reviews had me feeling like this series was gonna be highly sexual and taboo. It's sooo NOT.

Instead it's non-stop action and drama. Yes, they are high school students and there is sexual tension but this is sooo freaking vanilla. Edward gave it to Bella way harder than any scene in this book. So if you feel uneasy about the ages of the characters, don't. My 15 year old god daughter has ready dirtier shit than this.

The storyline of this book is so so so good. I feel like this is a good WHO DUN IT. I know that the Dakota's dad is the "villain" in this but honestly there are sooo many shady af people in this girl's life I don't know who to believe. I am hella salty that I did not realize that this series is not yet complete. I hate cliff hangers and am grateful I only have a month to wait until the next book being released in September.

Omfg Mercy is soon fucking stupid. She is literally going to set off a chain of events that could destroy hundreds and sge doesn't care. Her dad fucked up and to "avenge" him she's bring just as bad.

I wany to punch her in her face. She doesn't have the skills or knowledge to take on the task she has set her sights on. She's a child playing an adult game.

I literally can't with her.

The cliff hanger on this one is something else! Still loving the overall story line. The impending gang war and action is addicting. Still not a fan of Mercy, she is starting to be smarter and not act so tough. I love love love Slone. Rory and Levi are awesome as well but Slone has my heart.

I'm happy with this series. It's been a good read and I look forward to seeing what happens next.

Thank glob the ending wasn't rushed or ruined. Mercy NEVER won me over. But I didn't need to love her to enjoy this series. It was exciting, enduring, action packed, loving, and just so good. I'm new to mafia romances but this is the second series I've read in this genre and it's really peeked my interest.

Not one of my favorite couples but definitely a good love story. Both Santo and Pet have dark pasts and despite being having a good support system both are still internally struggling and trying to heal. What I liked is that this was acknowledged and instead of them being each other's shining light and "reason" to heal, they were simple each other's voice of reasons.

I am happy to see the larger storyline be written into this and updates given. I was feeling some kind of way with the MEANWHILE in Canada stories lol.

This is probably my most invested series and I hope there is no end in sight.

So this isn't the first series I've started where I didn't care for the female lead. MK is annoying to me. She's childish, irrational, and immature. It's clear who the BAD GUY is. Well at least the most obvious, yet she focuses all her anger on the guys that HELPED her. She fails to communicate and just plays childish pranks that escalate.

At chapter 6 I considered scrapping this book. I am glad that I pushed through. Usually as long as the overall storyline is good and there's action, I stay committed. For me the action and interest came a little late. Hopefully with the cliffhanger and exposed secrets and doubts the rest of the series will be popping.

These cliff hangers!!! OMFG I can't. So many times my heart jumped.

I still don't care for Madison Kate, HOWEVER I have a lot of empathy for her now. Like WTF can't baby girl catch a fucking break?! And why do these alpha assholes have to keep beating her down??

As predicted the overall storyline has popped off and I can't tear myself away.

I convinced myself I wasn't going to jump right into Hades book. NOOO I was going to enjoy Kate's HEA and then dabble in a few other series I've been neglecting. BUT NOOOOOOOOO with the ending on this book, how could I not jump right into the next??

Madison Kate grew on me. When I first started the series, she was annoying, dumb, and weak. We end with her being empathetic, a lil badass, and having a ton of personal growth.

Steele was probably my favorite throughout this entire series. I don't know, there is just something about his constant smiles, special skills, and open communication that endured him to me.

Archer like many lead males in reverse harem romances was the reluctant mega alpha. I never disliked him but he got annoying. I am so glad that he ended up being so romantic and thoughtful while maintaining his badassness.

Kody was very basic for me. The intelligent pretty boy, who jokes around a lot, has no temper, and has no issues playing with this toys. His character was fun but not really special.

Overall this series turned out way better than I had anticipated after the first book. It has a lot of actions, lots of interesting people that make you want to learn more about Shadow Grove in general.

This is probably my favorite book in the series. I'm writing this review after finishing book 4, so I can confidently say it doesn't get better.

I felt like I was playing a game of Clue. I had so many suspects I had to write them down. Ending Spoiler, it's not who you think*

The cliff hanger on this book literally had me screaming and I almost chucked my phone across the room.

If at any point during the first two books you considered quitting, please don't. This is worth the read.

OMFG I'm screaming. I literally don't think I can survive these cliffhangers.
