Finished this book on the 2nd. It was cute. Very light hearted and funny. Lots of puns and sexual innuendos. It was a quick read and entertaining.
I am officially apart of the Reyes Farrow fan club. Damn he is so freaking hot and he's not even corporeal. I can see but can't touch :( This book was not what I was expecting but in a good way. I enjoy police investigations and the one(s) in this story were really good. Everytime I thought I had something figured out I was wrong. And although I was a bit shocked at some of Reyes behavior at first, it was easy to see that he is in fact a man. Stuborn, teasing, and pouty suit him well. I like the idea that Charlie has more powers then she's aware of and look forward to seeing where Darynda goes with that.
OMG This book was HOTT!!! I am kicking myself in the arse for not reading it sooner. My favorite author Dakota Cassidy is personal really good friends with Darynda Jones and she seriously praised her and let me tell you the praise was due!! Charley is a grim reaper but not the wearing all black wearing hard ass bitch reaper. No she's girly and funny and relatable. Also she doesn't have lengthly internal struggles about little things such as weather or not to hook up with a lover who may or maynot be alive. Oh and the "hero" the man you want to wrap in chocolate and take home with you is a bad boy with a twist. It's like he's soo good yet sooo bad that your conflicted and you start to turn into one of those girls who try reason that it's okay if a man dont' have a job and lives with his mama he has a good sense of humour and loves me for me right?!? So yeah I seriously recommend this book to my paranormal readers. I need someone to talk with about the sexiness that is Reyes Farrow.
