I absolutely loved Killing Jericho and this sequel didn't disappoint. I love Scott Jericho's character and love how through this mystery, we learned more about his past and how he was dealing with the events of the last book. Just like in Killing Jericho, this one was full of twists and turns and kept me guessing. I was not expecting that reveal! Really hoping for more Scott Jericho books!

"Monsters don't look like anything, that's the whole point, that's the whole problem."

This packed a punch for such a short novel. A story of monsters and angels and how things aren't always what they appear to be. The heavy themes are so well handled and the representation was great. Really looking forward to reading the prequel.

Absolutely adored this book! Iris was always my favourite of the coven so I'm super happy she got her own story. Loved how she and Stevie developed through the book. Both supporting eachother and ultimately getting their HEA. Can't wait for the next Bright Falls book!

This was more D&D type adventure rather than cozy fantasy, which I'm all for, but I found the plot and the characters a bit lacking. I was really looking forward to reading this but overall, it didn't quite live up to expectations.

I imagine this would have been better if it was a bit longer and more fleshed out as quite a bit felt very rushed but it was an alright quick read for a Sunday afternoon.

I can't believe I waited so long to read this. It's been on my shelf forever! This book had everything. It made me laugh, it made me sad, and there were so many points where I couldn't untense until I knew everything was alright. Andrew and Jameson have my heart and I'm so excited for the sequel (at least I don't have to wait long now).

This was such a beautiful collection of comics written and illustrated by trans and non binary humans telling stories of their experiences with their gender identities. I loved the different art styles and loved how the stories just show how everyone's journey is different and that there isn't a "right way" to be trans or non binary. Everyone deserves to be happy just being themselves.

A magic culinary school, bake off vibes, familiars, and a splash of romance; what's not to love. A super cosy quick read.

It took me a bit to get into this book as you're just thrown in to this dystopian world with initially, little explanation. However as it got going, I really enjoyed it, even with all the gore. I loved the characters, the queer and autistic rep, and the found family aspects (one of my favourite tropes). Horror isn't usually my genre of choice but I'll definitely be picking up this author again.
