I received an arc copy of this book for an honest review!

Okay so the book for me is a 3 - 3.5 star book.
It isn’t bad, just wasn’t for me. Some of the sexual exploits and words used were a turn off rather then a turn on for me at certain points. It is a dark romance and you should check your trigger warnings.
None of that bothered me though, I love dark romances. Sometimes I just don’t vibe with a book. I felt that it was well written and I only noticed 2 spelling errors. So nothing bad like that.

I will say I didn’t see the little plot twist coming at all. So that was a nice little surprise. My mind just didn’t go there.

But I really think if any of the blurbs sound good to you you should give this book a shot! That’s why I did and I think a lot of people will like this book even if it wasn’t my favorite.

I just …. Can’t. I want to read the second book but the ending really grated on me. I feel like the main girl Charlotte literally almost always jumped to conclusions and never actually tried to hear Lex out at all. Like dude….. if you think something is wrong ask!!!!!
But also she should have come clean to Julian. When he asked her point blank and she lied but then was like I’m busy can’t hang, then left his ring at home. Like obviouslyyyyyyyyy it’s over and you should be honest with him because you can’t marry him if you never tell him what you did.
My least favorite trope is the misunderstandings where people flip and run off and make really awful decisions that almost destroy the entire book without attempting to understand what’s happening.

I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review. Will do my best to have 0 spoilers.

OKAY so I really liked this book, and I need the second book pronto!!!
At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, when she was in the first world with Jack the blood bond kept bugging me since I felt like she (Violet) went against it with what she did. But then after that it all fell into line with how their actions reacted to the blood bond so I got over it.

I love the side characters Rio and Anaya! I loved all of the world we have seen so far, the world building was wonderful I felt like I could clearly picture the world and creatures in it!

This book gave me seven deadly sins mixed with hunger games (just where they are in trials pretty much in each world and have to survive and sometimes kill to pass to the next world, depending on the sin) and a splash of original ideas all in one bundle.

But that ending, I’m legit dead, in a good way. All I can say is Jack better be okay, cause idk if I can handle anything else. And I just have so many questions!!!! I really hope the second book answers some because I’m curious and so excited for the next book!!!! I would definitely rate this book 4-4.5 ⭐️ !!!

Lune is really cute and she cracked me up the whole time. The guy is very Meh. I didn’t really like him at all. He is way too controlling in a not good way. But I mean it was expected after reading the back of the manga to see what it was about

Again I’m in love with this series!!!

Warren and Amelia are two of my favorite characters.
Her back story is so sad!!! But I love everything we learned.

I absolutely cannot wait for the third book. I’m excited for the rest of the lore to come out!

Graham is a sweetheart but honestly I would have been fine if he stayed as the best friend. The childish, golden retriever parts of him are just not my thing when it comes to a significant other. But it works for Rain so.

I need Warren to be her main squeeze though cause he is my favorite. Their first moment was so darn cute and sweet. The build up was immaculate.

I really enjoyed this!! The whole time I was like shit girl that took balls to do even if it only lasted a couple of weeks!

I liked how they both had their own issues to work through as well and thankfully the lying did not go on for long.

If you are looking for a little spice, HEA, and billionaire trope you should definitely check this out.

Now I’ll end my review with my favorite quote.
“I want you to hold me until the sun comes up,” I whispered. He cursed softly under his breath. “Then I’ll stop the sun from rising.”

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Holy wow!!!!

I was hooked the entire time I read this and had a hard time putting it down!!!

I really like all of the characters and the side characters that keep getting introduced are fantastic!

Only two things I don’t like about Edith, 1 - her reaction to Kyrans secret, like why is she flipping out to that degree? Especially when she realized she misunderstood how the other person felt when they talked about him.

2 - they literally told her to leave not wander around and then look what happens. The cliffhanger of all cliffhangers!!!

I will definitely be reading the third book whether it’s as an arc copy or when it releases and I buy it!

The lore is really interesting and there is still so much to uncover! I love all the different types of shifters / paranormal creatures in the books.

The world sounds beautiful and I really like the magic system.

WELL HOT DAMN!!! Once again I did not guess almost any of this happening.
Except the dirty betrayer!!!! I just had a feeling the dirty betrayer was going to once again be a dirty betrayer!

I love how whenever there are schemes even you as the reader are left in the dark. So when everything goes down you are like wait what???!!!!

I cannot wait for the next book!
Mordren is a fantastic man!
I love Valerie and Theo, they crack me up.
And I do so hope I see a romance between Ellyda and Vendir. I mean it was her looking at him once in Ellyda fashion but I still hope.

More like 3.5 stars. After thinking some more in this book I dropped it to 3 stars and I’m on the fence with it being 2 stars as I really did not enjoy this book.

This was such an interesting idea. But I feel like there is no good way to right the main character in the beginning of a book like this. You go a majority of the way through thinking he is lying to his girlfriend and hiding things from her and falling out of love with her while catching feelings for a spirit they encounter while on a get away to become closer. Then you find out that the spirit is the real Layla and the spirit in her body is the girl who tried to kill Layla. And then a guy shows up who is also a spirit possessing a random body to help them find answers then leaves with 0 solutions. I love paranormal romance but when I thought I was getting into a ghost love story I was thinking more along the lines of he falls in love with a ghost only he can see type of premise and not this.

I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next. I rated this book a 3 due to feeling like there wasn’t enough use out of some of the characters, but there was some good backgrounds for some of the characters. The ending felt rushed and it felt weird to read a cliffhanger in an epilogue. I feel like normally when I read an epilogue that’s the end of a book, tying up loose ends sort of deal.
