I honestly believe V.E. Schwab’s writing is a work of art. I couldn’t stop once I started this book.

“I don’t know what it feels like, but I want to find out.”
“If I have you my hand, would you take it?”
“If I ran, would you run with me?”

3.5 stars!

Honestly I was rooting for Noah. Until Kaleb finally talked I was just not interested at all. But the epilogue also helped to get that .5 star in!

What the actual…. I don’t accept what just happened…. I need this to get better

3.5 stars!!

Such a unique premise. And so close to being 4 stars

Team manuscript!!!

I received an arc copy of this book for an honest review.

3.5 stars for me!

I felt like this was wonderfully written and I really like Achan. And for the most part I like Soleil but I feel like sometimes I ended up bored while reading her thoughts. Or her overly goody two shoes wants.
I also didn’t really get the point of the random towns people POVs at first I was there for it thinking it would play some bigger part but I feel like it never did.

Besides that I loved the magic system and the world building was really interesting. If the author does decide to write a second book for this it would be really interesting to know more about the reasoning behind why the convocation acts the way they do.

I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book!!! Luke (Lucifer) is sexy, alpha, but not crazy possessive in a weird way. He cares and is immensely hurt which shows.
Ana isn’t too bad but I definitely like Lucifer more. I feel that after two years she should have come to grips with what happened but Luke hit it on the nose, she ran away from the truth and has only accepted half truths.

I am really excited for the second book! I felt this book was a great lead up to the crazy things to come in book 2 and 3. The tension was crazy and all I want to know is what happened to the package and what’s in it!!!

I definitely recommend you give this a read!

I am really enjoying this series!!! My only complaints are I’m confused by their life spans. I can’t tell if the guys have over exaggerated the 50 years comment or if they are that old and just age slowly.

I also wish we had more lore. More info on the 4 different shifters and just that the guys and Miyu were trying to help her dig up more info on anything and everything. There was one moment but very little info came up. I feel like it’s so close to being 4 stars if there just was a little more lore / background.

I felt like this was a really quick steamy read!

I had a few issues with the main female lead. I felt like she was majorly immature and her lying to the professor really showed that she is truly just 19.
Her anger and how she exploded in public situations multiple times also made me dislike her.

Regardless I still enjoyed the book and I really do want to know what happens next especially since it’s a 7 book series. Book is a 3.5 star for me, just don’t know how to get that onto goodreads
