Short chapters, almost like reading a diary from an obsessed and erratic person. It was a fun read, but might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

Such a good story! I took my time with this book, because it was slow paced and I wanted to relish every moment of it. It reads more like a literary fiction or historical fiction with a bit of fantasy sprinkled in it, than an actual fantasy book. So, if you are not usually a fantasy reader, you should definitely give this one a chance.

Het boek was okay. Niet het beste of meest spannende boek van Nicci French.

It was not a bad book, but some parts could have been left out.

Went into it blind, the only thing I knew about it was that it is dark academia and part of a duology. It was a wild ride! Loved all the secret society elements, the magic system was also cool and the characters

It was not as good as Ninth House, I wasn’t as hooked, but it was still good. Not as much dark academia and murder mystery vibes as Ninth House, so it felt like a different kind of book, only with the same characters.

It was alright. Easy read, so you can finish it in a day. Not more I can say about it.

True crime, a tiny bit of biography, politics and conspiracy theories. What more can you want. Interesting read!

Not a big fan of spice, but it’s fine when a book has some spice, I can deal with that. But this book had waaaay too much. Had to skip several chapters because of it. I did like the journey Nesta makes in this book and always love the banter between Azriel, Cassian and Rhysand.
