Definitely not McFadden’s typical structure. It was still easy to read and kept my attention, but I feel like the usual suspense nugget droppings were not there. When I figured it out, I figured it ALL out, in like 20 seconds of thought. I know McFadden doesn’t do the standard dual pov, but she’s good at doing multiple and I think this is story would’ve been better executed if we saw other characters’ in occasional chapters throughout. 
⭐️⭐️⭐️, and if it were a movie I would’ve stopped watching within 30 minutes.
