A heartwarming and beautiful story about the journey of discovering your identity and the path to identifying as nonbinary. Theo Parrish is learning about their identity, they are trying to find out what they identify as and what they feel most comfortably represents who they are. This was such a touching story and this book would be a wonderful one for people trying to discover their own identities to read.

A amazing story about a young girl's journey learning to embrace her Taiwanese culture and rebuild a relationship with her sister. This was such a beautiful read and it really touches on the feelings we have when we try to fit in but also struggle to embrace in with our own culture and the new culture we are trying to assimilate into. Being a person of color who grew up in American society, it was a constant juggle between understanding my own culture and the American culture, and this book perfectly captures the difficulties young people can go through. Claire and Michelle are two sisters who used to be best friends, but when Michelle denies her Taiwanese culture to try and fit in while her sister Claire embraces it, they begin to drift apart. Yet when they both are sent to Taiwanese American summer camp, they'll both have to face the reason why they drifted apart. It's a great read and I would definitely recommend it!

When a cheesemaker accidentally doses a lactose intolerant werewolf in a love potion her life is turned upside down because he's convinced she's his mate but she can't believe him since she dosed him by accident. Brie accidentally throws a drink at someones head... but ends up hitting a stranger and said drink was actually a love potion. Said stranger she hit is none other than Felix, a werewolf who knows after seeing her that she's his mate, too bad she doesn't believe him. Felix knows the potion has nothing to do with how he feels about Brie, but he'll have to find a way to convince her that its real. This was such a cute raunchy rom com and it was a fast read. This series has been so much fun and all the characters and couples are hilariously adorable.

When Cherry is kidnapped by a dragon she never expects that the key to her escape is another dragon... but this new dragon definitely wants to keep her for himself. Cherry was kidnapped five years ago by a dragon and has been stranded in his castle. She's tried everything to escape but hasn't managed to do so... yet when a mysterious new dragon shows up and offers to take her home, she's finally found a way out. Dante is a dragon who yearns for a mate, he's been alone for so long and after breaking his curse he decides to visit a friend of his fathers only to discover a young woman trapped there... a young woman who smells exactly like what his mate would. To his surprise, Dante discovers his mate but now he'll have to find a way to court her and it's been years (he's over 700) since he's properly courted anyone. Cherry see's Dante as an escape route but can Dante prove to her that they're perfect for each other? Another cute read in the series and honestly, I hope this series continues because each new couple is a fun one to read about and all the rom com shenanigans is great. It's raunchy, it's a fun time. and it's a fast read!!

When a teen discovers that she has psychic powers she is tasked to hunt down potential killers...until she finds out that her best friend and the boy she is in love with is her next target. Rowan Sterling has always been different and she's wanted nothing more than to be a regular teen and go to college with her best friend, whom she might have a crush on.... yet she's been seeing strange and terrifying things ever time her hand touches someone. Rowan knows something is wrong with her and so her father sends her to a mysterious facility called Rosewood. At Rosewood, they'll train her along with other teens with special abilities, and her mother also went there before she was murdered. Rowan begins to use her ability to stop killers... yet is it ethical to treat these people and capture them if they haven't even done anything yet? She begins to question everything when she touches her best friend's hand and sees him shooting a man in cold blood. She firmly believes that Lucas isn't capable of doing something like that and will do anything to protect him. What is right and what is wrong? Can she save Lucas? This was a really unique and interesting story. The moral questions it brings up is really interesting and the story was so fun to go along with. The artwork is really nice and I loved how everything wrapped up!

A witchy new take on Jane Eyre? yes please. Jane Aire is an orphan witch who also teaches magic and at a sheltered girl's school. When she is asked to come to Thornfield hall and help the reclusive master of it get rid of whatever is haunting it, she can't say no. Edward Rochester is at his wit's end, something is haunting his home, the servants are threatening to leave, he keeps seeing his dead ex-wife and hearing mysterious things, and he just can't explain the nightmares that plague him... so he hires Jane. Jane finds herself building a strange friendship with her prickly employer, yet the more she begins to unravel what is happening at Thornfield Hall the more she is beginning to think that whatever it is is too powerful for her and that she might not be able to protect the man she is falling in love with. This was a gothic witchy take on the classic, yet it does remove a few of the elements (cough cough, Rochester's wife being trapped and such) and it definitely sat better with me. I was never a big fan of the original story but I had fun with this one and enjoyed it. I think it'd make a great cozy read on a rainy or cold day! Jane feels so much more spirited and the relationship between her and Rochester was nice.

A new Queen has taken the bone crown, a prince turned king must plot to destroy his new family, a fury will give up everything for love, and the die will cast a new path for all of them. Riadne is the new queen after killing all of Arlo's family and revealing that she is Celadon's mother. She forced Arlo to be bound to her and plans on reviving all the seven Sins and reshaping the world to her liking. Arlo is determined to find a way to fix everything, and her sort of girlfriend Nausica, fury, will do anything to protect her, even become the new queen's controlled assassin if it means saving Arlo. Meanwhile Celadon is dealing with the death of his family and the reveal of his new mother, and who he truly is and the power he has. On top of that there is a strange connection between him and Lethe, the deadly Hunter who has his own plan yet seems to be willing to do anything for Celadon. This book further explores Lethe's past (he is the son of a titan, Luck and the god of death but was forced into Atlantis to be trained (tortured for years) and his only solace was his friendship with the Moon... who sacrificed their life for his revenge. Lethe has been trying to get revenge and find a way to find his Moon again... and who just happens to bear the same tattoo that Lethe has... Celadon. This book really had the most interesting relationship between Celadon and Lethe, like I could do with an entire book about their relationship. They were the main focus of this book and I loved them. Celadon and Lethe have both gone through so much yet are willing to do anything to protect the other, they're both playing their own games in this terrible situation with Riadne, and I am sat for my Grim and Sunken Kings. Besides them, the rest of the book/couples felt kind of lackluster and a bit slow... the only thing that kept me so invested was Celadon and Lethe. They had the best storyline and the most interesting character dynamic and personality. There is a fourth book coming and I will be reading it just to see where they go with the story and the rest of the characters. This series is a saga, so honestly I don't know how many more books there are going to be. My one big gripe with these books is that they are all over 500+ pages and most of the time it's unnecessary, it truly could be shaved down because the story feels so dragged on and other chapters and events feel kind of pointless..... but anyways, I digress. I'd have to say this is my favorite book from the series so far, it truly is the best of the three and I am curious how the next one will go.

A heartwarming and touching story about a Vietnamese girl whose life is changed when she experiences a wildfire. Simone is awakened by her mother and rushed out when a wildfire threatens her home. She experiences things she's never experienced and learns about her mother's life as a little girl in Vietnam who was forced to evacuate during a flood. This was truly such a sweet and beautiful story, and I absolutely adored it. It's got stunning art inside and the story itself is wonderful.

The first in a middle grade series perfect for fans of The Baby-Sitters Club, following a young Korean American girl who starts a tutoring business with her best friends to support her artistic dreams. Being in seventh grade isn't easy, especially when you want to pursue a art program that your parents can't afford and prove to them that you are serious about your career. Jiyoung "Gigi" Shin dreams about being an artist, she lives and breathes art. Yet it's not something her working class, immigrant parents want her to focus on, rather they'd have her pursue a more practical career. So when a prestigious art program appears, Gigi is determined to get in, even if it means starting her own tutoring business with her best friends to raise money... but nothing is ever easy especially when her childhood friend/crush and the most popular boy in school asks her to tutor him... and her friend also likes him. Family drama, crushes, friendship, and being in seventh grade, this was such a charming and cute book. I related so much to Jiyoung as an Asian American kid who wanted to be an artist. This book was adorable and just a really cute read, I will absolutely be reading the rest of the series and can't wait to see what Gigi and her friends get up to next!
