What happens when the man you married dies...and at the will reading you find out that he not only has another wife, he has two of them! Katherine Vareck finds out after her husband’s accidental death that he had married two other women. None of them had known about the other and if this gets out they are all ruined, it doesn’t help that the other two women are in difficult situations that only complicate the matter. The only person Katherine can turn to to help sort out this mess is her husband’s half brother, Captain and Duke of Ranford, Christian. Christian is freshly returned from the war and has always disliked his brother and his family, but when he meets Katherine he knows he has to help her. Katherine has a business to run and is competing to be the royal supplier for the Prince and while working she also must now find a way to not only solve the issues that her dead husband left behind but the fact that she might be falling for his dashing and caring half brother Christian. Christian must now find a way to convince Katherine that he is the one for her while they both work to solve the various obstacles in their way including Katherine’s secret past, Christian’s half brother’s debts and the owed dowries, and figuring out how to not only help Beth and Constance(the two other wives) but Christian’s charity. The romance was sweet and this was such a fun steamy read! I loved that you got to read from both character’s POV and I can’t wait to read the next book following Constance and her romance partner!! I NEED IT!!

Two sisters, a futuristic world, and a mystery that haunts them both. Celia and Kasey are sisters, Celia- a fun extrovert who mysteriously disappears one day, and Kasey- a more detached introvert who is obsessed with science and trying to find where her sister went. They both live in eco-city, a place floating above earth that is meant to be a sanctuary for people. Cee wakes up one day on the shores of an abandoned island with barely any memories and a little robot to keep her company until a mysterious boy shows up and tries to kill her, i.e. meet Hero. He also has no memories and blacks out when he tries to kill her. Kasey is trying to solve the mystery of what happened to her sister and where she went, all the while a mysterious boy named Actinium shows up and seems to be the missing piece to finding where her sister went. Throw in a whole lot of future tech, eco-planet stuff, and a big mystery with a little bit of romance and this is what you get. The overall story is interesting and the world setting is definitely unique. I found myself getting confused at some parts but in the end it made sense, sort of haha. Overall, a interesting read and great for anyone who is interested in a futuristic mystery.

Merritt Rivers is a barrister and has dedicated his life to upholding the law, and hunting down the man who murdered his fiancee. While on one of his hunts he runs into a woman also hunting thieves, a gorgeous, smart, and deadly woman named Veronica Chas. Veronica has a secret past, she was a nobleman’s daughter, but was later forced to fight in wars and now she lives in London’s underworld with her brother, whom she confesses to his crimes in order to keep him out of prison. Now Merritt and Veronica must work together to stop the riots that have been overtaking London and causing mass destruction. But the biggest obstacle in their way is their complicated feelings for one another and the demons that haunt their pasts.
It was a sweet and interesting steamy historical romance. I really adored Veronica, she was strong, took charge, and was charming as all heck. Merritt was a great love interest for her and they both had so much chemistry. The story was an interesting one, and the added complications of their pasts were great. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to fall in love with both of these characters and their romance.

Definitely an interesting take on the classic, it does flip the original and does take on more of a different approach. The story follows Dorian Gray, but as a gender bent version, and instead of living life in sin, this Dorian Gray is a criminal and is also hunting down men that had assaulted her when she was in college. This story is drastically different than the classic and is mostly a revenge story.

A magical novella, filled with revenge, redemption, and new beginnings. The story follows recently betrayed Supreme Mistress of the Guild of Sorcerers. After her love and fellow co-conspirator betrayed her and left her bleeding and imprisoned, she has escaped and is now on a mission of revenge, and maybe, redemption for her sins. The story was fast-paced, thrilling, and all around a great read! I loved how quick the story flowed and how thrilling it was. I would definitely recommend it!

A girl with hidden abilities in a world where pain is power and a door that is calling to be unlocked. The story follows a girl named Lorena Adler who has secret powers from banished gods (known as Noble and Vile). The world is set in a place where there are normal humans, and people gifted with either Vile powers or Noble powers and the very rare and select who have both, that being Lorena and the current Queen. After her abilities are secretly revealed when she tries to save the family that had taken her in, she is contracted into a deal with the prince. She is now part of his research group as he seeks to close the Door which holds back the Vile (basically evil). Every time she uses her powers she must sacrifice something or someone, a body part, blood, memories, in exchange for something else. Her abilities allow her to create and destroy. Soon she finds herself uncovering evil plans, secrets that break her heart, and a evil crown prince who isn’t as evil as his reputation.
I wouldn’t be lying when I say reading this story was confusing. It had a complicated story arc and the world and magic system were odd. The ending was.... off for me. I just couldn’t like the story as much as I had wanted. I enjoyed Lorena and Aliastar but the ending and overall arch of the story just didn’t work for me. But give it a try anyways, maybe it’ll be for you!
