The most magical book I've read in a long time! Such expressive writing and characters, such whimsy! Felt the same imaginative writing as a Miyasaki/Ghibli movie. Would love to watch this as a movie!

Second half of the book saved it. Will continue to read the series. The second book is apparently my sisters favorite.
