I may change this rating to 4 after I’ve sat on it for a while. The illustrations are amazing. Lots of emotion and very ethereal. The ending was very abrupt and other than the cape and taking food to grandma, it’s a very loose Little Red Riding Hood story. I quite liked the darkness of the story though.

I loved the authors voice. Can’t wait to see what she’ll create next. This graphic memoir was all about feeling and I felt everything.
