This book hooked me from the beginning. I listened to it on audio and found myself wanting to clean so I could keep listening to it. I was absolutely obsessed until the very end. The ending was a bit abrupt, and (POSSIBLE SPOILER) it leaves one character in a bad situation that I would really like to know the answer to.

Abby always manages to capture my heart with her adorable banter and beautiful romances

It took me a little while to get into this book. Like 120 ish pages before I finally got into the flow. The first portion of this book felt a bit repetitive to me.
Once the book picked up I was able to fly through the rest of it in a day. I did enjoy how everything was resolved. And I really enjoyed the Shining references and such.
It felt more thriller esq with supernatural elements mixed in.
White Horse was @creepitrealbookclub ‘s pick for April.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review: Tales of A Lonely Wander follows a vampire as he recounts one of his first loves back in Ancient Greece. There we see love, war, and loss.
Full of romance and action, I flew through this book in a day. It reminded me some of another book that was recently released, A Dowry Of Blood.
What I liked:
The unique storyline.
A unique take on vampires. I liked getting to see a different side to the typical vampire.
The action scenes were well written. I was able to follow them with ease.
What didn’t work for me:
The nods to modern celebrities like Jay Z while the novel centers in Ancient Greek times. It took me out of the time period.
The explicit erotic scene that happens later in the book. It took me out of the narrative a bit.
The writing can still use a bit of polishing. While a gripping story, some of the sentence structure and dialogue didn’t flow right.
Thank you again to the author for the e-book. Wishing you nothing but the best in your writing journey.
