Holy cow we have been sleeping on this book. This book is beautiful and I’m sad I didn’t pick it up sooner. It’s been such a long time since I was this obsessed with a book. It has such a unique concept. I was hooked from the start and really got invested in the lives of the apartment dwellers. Easily a five star read.
A woman running away from her past life gets murdered in the elevator of a “safe” apartment complex. Her ghost is tied to the elevator, traveling up and down as residents use it. She quickly learns that most of the residents harbor secrets— some of them deadly. Will she be able to find her murderer, and protect her friends from the other ghosts in the building?
Tw: domestic abuse, suicide, murder

A twisty thriller spanning two different time lines that left me on the edge of my seat. I did not see the twist coming. And while the writing itself is simple, I was still addicted the entire time! It was very fast paced.
A great sequel! I loved seeing Jade’s character development in this book. She’s grown so much in four years. This book played out just like a slasher horror movie, much faster paced than My Heart Is A Chainsaw.
My only issue with this book is the POV switches confused me sometimes. I get that it was trying to be just like a horror movie, jumping between the main characters and the randos that get slashed, but I occasionally had a hard time keeping up with the amount of characters. Thankfully the audiobook helped with a full cast of narrators.

This book was a thrilling ride from start to finish. Between driving in a snow storm and surviving creepy monsters, I was on the edge of my seat. I loved the spooks and scares.
I just wished the ending wasn’t so vague.

Orphan meets The Omen in this dark and creepy book about a family who is unable to conceive a child of their own, so they adopt a kid with a traumatic past. One that holds dark secrets.
I devoured this book. It was addicting and I just couldn’t put it down. I didn’t want to stop reading.

A beautiful book centering on Dracula's wives.
The prose is lyrical and makes for A lovely read. I found myself highlighting a lot of passages. There’s a lot of quoteworty, moments in this book.
