This book is a 2,5 - 3 star read for me. The idea behind the plot is good but falls short due to simple language and a main character it's hard to actually like. She's self centered and immature. The author also seems to forget to tie all the loose ends. If there were hints on a follow up book this would be logical but to my understanding this is a stand alone book.

I can't say what it was that didn't reel me in about this book. The story and idea behind it is really good. I gress it's just kind of boring? I kept thinking I wish Leigh Bardugo had written it, that would speed things up.
