I didn't anticipate loving this book as much as I did but it was so good. I stayed up until 2AM a couple of nights in a row just reading. Madeline Miller has a beautiful writing style that doesn't feel forced or extravagant: the way she writes is both lovely and straightforward. Also Achilles' and Patroclus' relationship was so wonderfully, gradually developed.
