This has the makings of becoming a classic. So simple and beautiful.

He said he’d set the record straight and he sure did.

This was poignant, eye-opening, and had me fully engaged. Harry writes beautifully while telling a very straight forward retelling of his life, starting around his mother’s death. I am someone who follows the royal family but I think this is would be interesting, and possibly shocking, for anyone. After this read, and the Queen’s death, that following has diminished.

Harry talks very openly about mental health and his coping mechanisms. After not being allowed to show emotion during his most formidable years, he does a beautiful job telling his most vulnerable stories. And there are quiet a lot of explosive stories in this. You don’t have to worry about him not saying much - you get a very clear picture of each one of his close family members. He name drops just about everyone he talks about.

The British press is the villain of this story. Absolutely ruthless and disgusting. I hope Megan and Harry are able to put that part of their life behind them, find peace, and continue their work to make the world a better place.

I haven’t read this since middle school and wow it still holds up to my extreme standards. And as much as I love the movies, the books really are better.

I love how simple the writing is. Since it’s YA, that is to be expected but it’s not written like it’s intended for children. It’s just so well written and you believe the world is real right from the jump.

Finishing this made me instantly depressed. In part because I know what struggles come next for Katniss but also the grief I feel for Peeta. What a beautiful character. Suzanne Collins writes such great characters and I love to live in her worlds.

Can’t wait to reread Catching Fire!!!!!!!

Another celebrity I grew up watching but knew absolutely nothing about their life!

Josh has a very realistic view about being fat and I deeply related to some of his inner criticisms about himself. But gave a funny spin to it too. I also enjoyed his incites about being employed through social media and the struggles of living paycheck to paycheck. Josh is just extremely relatable.

I enjoyed this - it was a real easy read.

The hype is well deserved.

If you're new to poetry and need something to spark your interest, this is a good place to start.

Such a beautiful book! And not my typical read, which made it hard to rate but overall it pulled on my heartstrings.

I read the Odyssey freshman year of high school and was lucky enough to have it taught by a great teacher as well as having a love for greek mythology. If you’ve never read, or perhaps hated, the Odyssey, I’m not sure this book would be for you. This book is a love letter to the Odyssey while weaving in real life to the epic tale.

It is important to take a step back and analyze our parents, noticing their positive and negative qualities. This made me want to interview my parents’ whole life story.

I am really glad I listened to this, I think I would have had a hard time getting through it otherwise. Bronson Pinchot is a beautiful narrator.

Loved Percy Jackson but wished it was gayer? Here’s a perfect book for you!

Seriously this had everything you want in a YA mythic fantasy: action, enemies to lovers (well tbd), gods, backstab, great friendships. I simply cannot wait for the next one!

A sweet travelers tale with feelings of Lord of the Rings and Project Hail Mary. Such a whimsical, short audio book that transports you to another world.

I love a surprising friendship that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy by the end. Dex and Mosscap are just that. I did expect this to be a 5 star read because of the rave reviews but it was perhaps just not my idea of one. I still liked it a lot and am excited for the second.
