Thank you to Random House Graphic for the ARC!
This is the last of RH Graphic’s debut line that I read, and it is by far my favorite!!!!
I love anything to do with witches, I love graphic novels, and I love LGBT books and this is ALL THREE!
A queer witch! Her sword-fighting girlfriend! Magic! Adventure! Powerful women! And a non-binary plant-growing, ship-captaining witch friend!
The art in this book is gorgeous, and I love the color palate too. I have nothing bad to say about this book, so go buy it when it comes out in April!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you to St. Martin’s Press for the ARC.
For a book that’s less than 300 pages, this one sure packs a punch. I didn’t read the description of this book before I started it, so I didn’t really know what to expect. It starts off just like many a suburban drama, but about three quarters of the way through takes a sharp turn into terrifying territory. To say I was unprepared for how this book would end is an understatement!
I definitely recommend this one—it’s a quick but impactful read, with a fascinating, yet sometimes despicable, cast of characters and a writing style evocative of Ancient Greek theatre—the narrator(s) especially reminded me of the chorus that so often connects the reader to the story.
Five stars!
