Cute but not my favorite. It was a little too bland and surface-level across all fronts for me to give it a higher rating

I have never cried so much reading a picture book 😭 100% recommend this to anyone, I loved it so much. Vashti Harrison is one of my favorite artists and now one of my favorite picture book authors. This was so well done and has a valuable lesson not only for children but for adults as well on the power of words and how harmful, as well as how healing, they can be.

Very fun and cute and hilarious, and just what I needed after a few dark/depressing books in a row. Even if I did yell at the MC a few times out of frustration 😅 (Teenage boys, though, what do you expect?)
