Thank you to Wednesday Books (via NetGalley) for the ARC!

This was very cute! I absolutely loved the neurodiversity rep, especially because I know that it's something close to the author's heart. The romance was very sweet and I loved that Tilly and Oliver were able to bond over their shared neurodivergences when normally those were things that isolated them from other people. I also loved the queer characters in the supporting cast šŸ™ŒšŸ» I can tell that Mazey is working up to queer MCs through all her books (I have an ARC of her next book already), and I can't wait for queer leads!

Tilly's parents were super frustrating for me and honestly the only reason I'm not giving this book 5 stars, but I have read a slew of YA books with infuriating parents and I'm honestly tired. I want more kind, understanding parents in YA books instead of parents who want their kids to have their lives figured out before they finish high school and don't follow every plan set up by their parents instead of following their own dreams.

Hilarious and perfect for a read-aloud! This makes me miss my weekly reading time with my elementary kiddos <3

This was so good! I didn't know it was a sequel until I was about halfway through and it works really well as a standalone, but I do want to read the first book as well just to get Anna's entire story

This was really good, and kind of different from what I expected. Yes, there are vampires, but this is really a love story disguised as a monster story. The vampires (and the war) are more vehicles for Nena and Nestor’s story than the main show, which is totally fine by me.
