wanted like this one more but, sigh. It had a lot of things I like. A bi MMC, no third act break-up, interesting premise/conflict. But it just didn't hit the right beats for me. The numerous time jumps just took me out of the story (it spans years, literally, and this book is so short. Just over 250 pages). And the dialogue was a little too cheesy. At times it sounded like a "how to have a healthy conversation with your partner" handbook, which also took me out of the story :(

I liked the couple so I wish I liked the book a little bit more, but it was just not my favorite.

This was cute! It was a simple, sweet contemporary YA with a summery vibe. It also made me question how much time I’m spending on social media, so I guess it did its job šŸ˜‚

This is a younger-feeling YA that I'd definitely recommend to middle schoolers, which I'm always looking for, so that was a nice find as well. I always feel like it's hard to find books for middle schoolers that don't talk down to them or that don't feel way above their maturity level.
