I was sort of expecting there to be trick with the title... there isn’t. I want to call it an honest book. Which seems maybe a strange descriptor to apply to the subject of serial killers, but it just is.

I loved how the author was able to show (1) how differently the two sisters are treated (A+ social critique!) and (2) simultaneously replicate those critiqued reactions in the reader (me, I’m the reader here.

I found this one harder to sink into than the first one. But damn, I did eventually sink in, and it was great! I’m intrigued to see how the third one goes.

Also, I love the audio. The reader is great.

And I kinda wish this was a graphic novel. Ouf. The imagery would be AMAZING. (More amazing anyway. cause obviously it’s already pretty cool).
