A couple chapters from the end the story skips forward quite suddenly and I found that a little clunky. I wish that transition had been elaborated a bit, as it seemed like there was a lot of character change/development subsumed into that void.

The MC is so incredibly unlikable for a large chunk of the book. I wouldn’t say I enjoyed reading it. But it was very interesting, compelling, and thought provoking.
