I feel like this story could have taken a different route at the end there (a different perpetrator), which I would have found more interesting. I kinda dislike where that part of it went. Tho I did appreciate Tris’ actions afterwards. 

The wind magic/ scrying was cool- I wonder if that’s where the idea for Beka Cooper’s wind stuff started from. I love to see the way authors build on their ideas thru their catalog. 

The timeline of this was confusing and I found it a bit ridiculous that one character is crying about how the other will never love her after like 3 days?! And then the other one is suddenly willing to uproot her whole life after only a couple weeks. My brain just did not comprehend.

I’m not sure how I feel about the portrayal of bipolar in this book. I have mixed feelings and plenty of questions but/and it’s not something I have personal experience with so I’ll have to seek out more info elsewhere. 

Otherwise the story was very engaging, emotional, readable. And overall I think it was memorable and ill be thinking about it for awhile.

The feels are: nostalgic messy youth. Very relatable.
