This was so fun! Made me smile lots and I loved it.

Cried happy tears twice in the last few chapters.

This book is so fun! I LOVED it.

I did like the concept the book is based on. I didn’t guess how the mystery would be solved. I liked the little interludes that told the mythology/gods’ stories. The cover is also very pretty. And the paper it was printed on was pleasing! (It’s probably a bad sign the paper was my favourite part?)

I didn’t like the main character much. I found him very annoying, actually... I didn’t find the romance believable at all. I was disappointed that the the setting wasn’t explored/described/brought to life in more detail. I feel like the steampunk description fell flat- the bits that did point to that (beyond the clocks themselves which were cool) were kinda few and far between. Some points were just plain confusing. And it was all paced quite slooooooow.
