Felt like it was trying to be progressive but there were scattered comments and such that were just kinda awful.

Writing style not for me. I find it very calm and distant? Which is a style choice that goes with the aesthetic I suppose, but I just prefer more upbeat and sarcastic type writing especially in mysteries.

Wrong mood? Just wasn’t into it.
