Such an engaging book. Kraft is a wonderful story teller. His story is inspiring and it's amazing to see the impact he had on history. True American legend and hero.
Wonderful book. I enjoyed going on the journey with Gene through the early days of NASA until the Apollo missions ended. He was able to convey great emotion, especially during the Apollo 1 disaster. I am glad he shared his stories with us and it is inspiring to see his love of the job and the mission.
I remember watching Apollo 13 as a kid and I enjoyed it. This book was far beyond the movie. The detail and even more incredible story that was reality is amazing. I understand why things were changed for the film, but the full story is an amazing show of ingenuity and courage.
I have always enjoyed Colin's comedy, and this book was great just like his act.
