This was an interesting book. I will admit that I enjoyed it a little more than American Vampire.

It reminded me a little of The Lottery as once you are pledged, they will just come for you until they have you. And the town seems to be all in on how things work with the Wytches.

The artwork is really nice. I didn't really find the story super creepy/scary, but I did love it nonetheless.

This was such a cute little fall book. The adventure of trying to find and talk to the girl you’ve been crushing on for years.
Taking that journey at the instance of your best friend.
Finding out that she wasn’t what you thought.

And then finding that in your best friend.

Such a cute little story. I really enjoyed it.

This book was an unexpected delight. I had heard people say that if you liked Stephen King's IT that you would like this book. I have to agree.

The story of these young boys and a young girl battling evil over the summer was very good. One thing that I liked, as a difference to the book IT, was that adults could also see what these kids were seeing. A part here or two were a little slow, but it always picked up. The story is fast paced and keeps outdoing itself as it unfolds.

The last 100 pages or so I just had to stay up late to finish. I needed to know how it all ended. And it was worth it. If you liked IT, I highly recommend this book.

Cute little book. I will have to share this with my daughter as she will really enjoy the story.
