Biggest disappointment of the year. This book has been sold to me as magical whimsical and all these wondrous things.

But all I got from it was extreme sadness, people who did not save themselves but much rather wait for 17 years for someone who deserves nothing, gloomy, dark, twisted. Just overall all negative feelings and rolemodels. And nothing felt positive...

Did not like: Dull, boring... It was just obvious and did nothing for me...

Unpopular Opinion coming in...
I was so disappointed I can't even express it. I knew the ending the whole time and was tempted to DNF it. And after forcing myself through this I did not learn anything unexpected at all. And I just found Cinder so annoying. The tiny flicker of a romance was totally unrealistic and from the prince instantly. I don't know. The Characters were hollow and not interesting to me at all. There were no surprises for me in this entire plot. I'm sorry I rarely give such a review but I had hoped for so much more after liking Heartless and I don't know should the plot of the second book be as hollow and predictable... I have not decided if I will pick it up.
I just can't overlook the bad characterizations, plot, pace, foreseeable ending, no character development...
And this concept had so much potential.
There were so many things just not explained at all. Like: Why would someone with technological reinforcements considered not human??? How can they treat them like property? That's totally unrealistic in my opinion. Taking the society nowadays as a guide where acceptance is very important and good steps in that direction have been made. I find it rather sad and not reasonable.

I need more !! Like oxygen like water 😱❤️
