I really liked the story, it was a quick fun read but I LOVED the nonchalance in dealing with gender fluidity and sexual fluidity. It was just a normal part of life and we need more representation like this. Where it’s just not a big deal to be any gender or sexuality in the slightest. 10/10 in that regard.

This was exceptional. It did exactly what I expected and exactly what I wanted it to do and it was brilliantly crafted.

This was perfect, exactly what I needed at the moment. I was so invested in this story from the second I started it. I can’t wait to read the sequels! Also I LOVE LES MISERABLES and this was such a creative story!

I don’t read summaries which is why I didn’t know that it was supposed to be an alternate Paris where the revolution failed but I loved this fictional Paris with a brimming underworld of guilds so much.

This really surprised me I normally don’t care about Fame as a topic but I LOVED the romance in this and new friendships

It was so incredibly refreshing that a main character just talks about what bothers her DIRECTLY to their significant other instead of BEING UNREASONABLY MAD and PUSHING THEM AWAY FOR NO REASON to create unnecessary drama like in every other YA romance!!!!! Oh god how I loved that it didn’t do that for once.

Also it didn’t take the main character ages to figure out her feelings yay for that as well. This all comes down to the romance not being the only focus of the story of course but still. I very much enjoyed it.

I can’t go wrong with this author and I already can’t wait to read her newest release
