Adam how.. how do you make me feel all these things? I have so many feelings right now I don't know what to say. I loved this, I devoured it and I admire you for this Adam Silvera.
I just found so much of myself in Griffin and I cared so much. I'm... speechless. I wish I could meet all of them now and hug them 🙈

C - 8 - I really enjoyed reading about all the sisters and their magical castle
A - 9 - the fairytale atmosphere was the best thing, it was very magical and I enjoyed the element of dancing - dancing to help them with their grief. And the atmosphere shifted quite efficiently when the Keeper reveals his true nature
W - 8 - It was pretty simple, but I liked it.
P - 6 - I think the plot was a bit slow and it could have been a shorter book, but it was still okay
I - 7 - I read it in 3 days and two of those more than 200 pages, which is pretty good
L - 9 - Everything fine
E - 8 - I did enjoy this book overall, even though it was longer than it needed to be

C - 10 - Jane is a very interesting main character, I also really liked the side characters: Kiran, Ivy, and Jasper the dog. The dog was one of the best things as usual.
A - 10 - the atmosphere was fitting to every genre, just amazing!
W - 9 - Brilliant!
P - 10 - I would give 15/10 if I could. This is such an ingenious idea! The plot was so gripping! We have one main plot which is contemporary and then 5 different endings/storylines with different genres (crime/mystery; spy-thriller; horror; science-fiction; adventure and fantasy) I've never read anything comparable.
I - 10 - I've read until 6 am. I could not put this book down. I had to know all the secrets. I think I even dreamt about it.
L - 9 - Hard to judge, but I was okay with everything, no matter how freaking weird!
E - 10 - I enjoyed this book 1000%, the only story I didn't like as much was the third one.

C - 8 - Not enough Warner! But I liked most of the characters!
A - 7 - Still not as much info about the world as I would like.
W - 8 - as good as ever
P - 6 - the first part was so slow, but I waited for the physical copy, then better!
I - 7 - the second part kept me hooked!
L - 9 - everything fine!
E - 8 - I really enjoyed the second half! Can't remember the first as clearly though.

Characters:
Kelsea Raleigh Glynn, 19, daughter of Queen Elyssa and an unknown father, has a magical jewel on a necklace since birth she shall not take off, has to fight to get to her palace and take over the rule of the kingdom from her uncle, has been raised in a cottage full of books
Themes: battle, survival, monarchic politics, evil queen in neighboring land, rape, sex, atheism,
Cover: red with a little glimpse on a palace
Author: never read before, a little intimidated by next two books
Setting: in a future where the "Tear" have come to Europe to start anew for a reason unknown (dystopian elements)
POV: 3rd person --> Kelsea, the Regent, the Red Queen, a gate guard
Liked: writing, world building, action, the atheistic mind of the MC, no love story, the character of the fetch
Did not like: super slow, descriptions of everything and MC stating her plainness!
My main problem was, that it was really really slow for me I don't know if it is because English is my second language and it was a bit sophisticated or if it was just because of me but the last third went by much faster and I did want to know how it continues. I do care for some of the characters and am particularly interested in the Fetch. But I got rid of the other books in the series. Don’t think I’ll ever continue.
