It was a good book I'd say. The translation was bad at times and didn't get why the author simply mentioned Santiago throughout all the book as just The boy. The story was interesting and intriguing. Loved the equality of different ethnicities and especially religions! Islam and Egypt were described really well. The ending wasn't that satisfying tho...

I understand the author meant the journey to be more of a personal and spiritual treasure and self-discovery but... We don't even see him meeting Fatima again or The alchemist or what happened to the Englishman. Anyways I recommend it!
This one hit close to home... I resonated soo much with Eliza, including ADHD problems, Taekwondo club, and friendship problems... It was just great. I really liked Eliza. I was soo happy that she enjoyed Taekwondo and did not quit, I hope I won't quit too, and my test is very soon aswell. I'm gonna read the other Eliza Bing books for sure! They're great! Highly recommend...
Just great, I don't know but the ending made me teary... In the beginning, I liked Joe but Ravi (Ra-Vee) seemed kinda selfish, and arrogant that he thought that he is the best and stuff. I didn't understand why he wanted to be Dillion's friend so much. But then I understood more and he just had trouble fitting in you know, he came all the way from India. People at school looked at him differently and Dillion was just the worst! I've never seen a worse Elementary School bully ever... Joe was sweet and people looked at him differently just because of his APD or Auditory Processing Disorder, and the fact that he was a big boy who loved to eat! It was a cool concept of writing the story from both perspectives and I believe their friendship is gonna be great. Highly recommend!
The only thing I didn't like was the way they talked about girls, how they're dumb, can't play sports, and just always like Dillion and stuff... The authors were female for God's sake!!!
