I got this as an ARC from Edelweiss+.
I liked the continuation of the story, if you'd ask me if I know how the magic and world work I'd be lying if I said yes... I am pretty confused, but this was fun and intense seeing the first exam, and it ended in a pretty interesting way, I am probably gonna read the 3rd volume too. I want to know if all the students survived or not, seemed like a pretty brutal exam...

I don't know what the hack is going on now the visuals are stunning but the story is a little confusing now... Also when will the 9th volume come out? I want it now...
this was so cute, touching and important loved it! in the beginning, i thought the ghosts represented introverts, then autistics, but I guess it was just the peeps who need someone to talk to because of anxiety, depression or whatever. it can still be Autitiscs though, I think that's cool. although I definitely still am part of the sad ghosts club!
just brilliant read it all in one setting which in itself is quite a feat, for a debut book this is too brilliant, loved Pip and Ravi, will read the rest of the series for sure!
adventurous
mysterious
medium-paced
I loved it, it was pretty fun and interesting, learned a lot about the Lipan Apache people, and found the setting to be unique. it was a fantasy paranormal mystery, how cool is that? set in a world where the magical and paranormal are pretty normal, and it had no romance which for a YA book it's very rare, so I loved it even more! Elatsoe (Ellie) was so cool, I liked her!
