Great character development and storytelling, a vivid and well researched historical background, a mystery that kept me on the edge and guessing till the end.

I could write a very long review of this book with all the blah-blah necessary to explain what I felt reading it.
Or I can be very concise and write something like: go and read it because it's one of the best book I read in a long time.
Everything is perfect: the storytelling, the amazing descriptions of the island, the masterfully written cast of characters.
It was an excellent read, strongly recommended.

I usually like Meg Cabot's books but i loved this cozy mystery. It's got all the elements of a good cozy: the quaint small town, the quirky and likeable cast of characters, a librarian and a sheriff, and a mystery to solve.
The characters are likeable and relatable, the mystery is full of twists and turns and the humour made ma laugh more than once.
I hope to read soon other books featuring these characters and a good mystery.
Highly enjoyable and recommended.
