I had high expectations and was happy when this book was approved as I'm a fan of Buffy.
Unfortunately this was not my cup of tea and the book fell flat.
I liked the humour and the plot was entertaining.
Unfortunately I couldn't care for the main character that I found a bit one-dimensional and prone to silly choices.

I read other books by Sheila Norton and always liked them, this one was no exception.
This book is enjoyable and heart warming, a fast and enjoyable read
I loved how the plot developed, the well written characters and the wonderful setting.
I look forward to reading other books by this author.

It's the second book I read in this series and was happy I requested it.
It's heart warming and heart wrenching, entertaining and enjoyable.
Ms Sala know how to write a book that will keep you hooked till the last page and make you rooting for the characters.
A very good read, I look forward to reading the next installment in this series.

I was attracted by the synopsys but unfortunately this is not my cup of tea.
It's full of potential but I think that both world building and characters need some more developing.
There're a lot of good ideas but somehow they never deliver their full potential.

It's the second book I read in this series and I liked it.
It was nice to meet again the cast of characters and it was a pleasant and entertaining read.
The mystery was good, no plot hole, and it kept me guessing till the end.
I appreciated that the writer reduced the number of adjectives, I didn't care for the religious part that was more present than in the previous good.
I look forward to reading the next instalment in this series.

A solid historical fiction, well researched and interesting.
I liked the description of the historical background, the women condition and how the witch hunt worked.
It's a bit slow at times but I think this helps to see in a better way how the characters evolve and how they are involved in a historical event.
Fleetwood goes from being a spoiled young girl to a woman able to fight and stand for what she cares.
The cast of characters is well written and fleshed out.
I will surely read other books about the Pendle process and look forward to reading other books by this author.

I like this series and I liked this book even if it's not the best one so far.
I liked to meet again the cast of characters, Elvis is one of my favourite feline in the mystery world.
Good solid mystery, kept me guessing till the end.

A lovely book that makes you feel good and entertain at the same time. Lovely setting and characters.
