I loved the first book in this trilogy and I loved this one.
The first book did a great job in describing the characters and the world around them, this one is more action and fast paced.
It starts with a bang and keeps you reading, never slowing the pace or being boring. It's exciting and enthralling.
This is a great fantasy series and I look forward to reading the final installment.

What a great start for a new series!
It's a bit more complex than the average cozy and with a set of quirky and lovely characters.
I loved the gardening theme, gardening is one of my hobbies, and liked the Gardening Guerrilla part (that is when they go gardening at nighttime), an unusual theme for a cozy mystery.
The book is well written, I like how introduced the town and the characters and I like how the plot starts slowly and then accelerates.
The mystery is very good, full of twists and turns, and it was exciting and entertaining.
I look forward to reading other books in this series.

Not a bad book but not my cup of tea.
I appreciated the creepiness and found that the plot was quite engaging and entertaining.
Unfortunately I think that the style of writing was a bit confused.

I love Virginia Woolf and was happy I requested this book.
It's well written and well researched book about the time she lived in Richmond.
It was an interesting to learn about a part of her life I knew so little.
I think it's must read for any person who like Virginia Woolf.

When I reached the last page of the book I kept on pressing for the next page but I had to face a harsh reality: the book was ended and no more Cory, Molly and Gene.
I felt empty and sad because it was a great reading experience, a book I savored reading as fast as I could and trying making it last as long as I could.
The word that comes to my mind is tenderness: the author writes his characters with a lot of tenderness, designing great characters that are memorable and lovely.
I loved this book: the characters, the plot and the setting were all well written and made you feel emotionally involved.
The book is exciting, heartwarming and heart wrenching, an emotional and enthralling rollercoaster.
I like the mix of genre, it can be appreciated by people who like sci-fi, thriller or women’s fiction depending on the way you look at the plot.
I hope there will be a further instalment with these characters, I think there could be some elements that could be developed in a new book.
I will surely read other book by this author.

What a lovely and well written mystery!
It took me back to when I use to read the Three Investigators, it was great to read a mystery for children so well written and engaging.
I think it can be appreciated by both adults and children.

It's the first book I read in this series and it was amazing.
I laughed out loud a lot but there's also food for thought.
The settings, the characters and the descriptions are wonderful as much as the humour that is a bit weird and really funny.
It made wish to move to Florida and to go and get the rest of the series.

I give 3 stars because it was an enjoyable and entertaining book but really a "standard" cozy mystery.
It's well written, the characters (both humane and canine) are likable and the mystery was ok.
I think there's a lot of potential but this first book isn't expressing it.
I look forward to reading the next installment to see what will happen.
