I got this ARC because I found the blurb intriguing even if New Orleans+vampires usually means Anne Rice to me.
This means I was also a bit wary because it could have been something similar to Vampire Chronicles.
I was wrong because the author was able to write a novel set in New Orleans with vampires and making something original, well written and gripping.
It's a dark book, dark and atmospheric, gripping and entertaining.
I loved her descriptions of New Orleans as much as I loved the fleshed out cast of characters and the world building.
It's an amazing and very pleasant read, highly recommended!

I loved this gothic and creepy story. It's atmospheric and enthralling, one those book you cannot put down and makes you turn pages like a maniac.
The author is an excellent storyteller and she did a great jobs in balancing the different elements and the dual storyline. The characters are well developed and interesting.
It was an excellent read, strongly recommended.

It's the first book I read by T.J. Klune and it won't surely be the last because it was an amazing read.
I think I would classify it as "Make-you-smile-fantasy" or "Tenderness-fantasy".
I loved Linus since the first pages. He's human, so human and not a perfect superhero.
The description of the office atmosphere is hilarious and realistic at the same time with its petty jealousies and the top management so distant and sort of mythic.
Then we arrive at the house and you cannot help falling in love with the children and Arthur.
It's a travel that makes you smile, feel a lot of tenderness for the characters but also makes you think as there's also a reflection about being different and ostracised.
I don't care if you suspect since the beginning what the end will be, the travel was great and extremely entertaining.
An excellent read, I want to start this travel again.
Highly recommended.

It's a well written, gripping and enjoyable story that kept me hooked till the end.

One day I will read a Harlan Coben's book I don't like but I can say I loved this one.
Wilde was my favorite characters and I appreciated the character development and his story.
The plot is gripping and fast paced, it keeps you hooked and turning pages as fast as you can.
The cast of characters is well thought and they are interesting.

An unusual Christmas story heartwarming and entertaining.
The well crafted plot feature more themes than the usual festive romcom: there's the path to overcome grief and there's a mystery.
It's a coral novel and I loved the well thought and realistic cast of characters.
