I like ancient Egypt and I love fantasy, so this book was a sort of Heaven sent.
It was fascinating, engaging and entertaining.
Even if it was a bit slow at beginning once you got into the story you were hooked till the last page.
I liked the characters and the world building and hope there will be other instalment in this setting.

I'm fascinated by Middle Ages and interested in fashion and lifestyle through the ages.
I was happy to get this book as it seemed perfect for me.
All my expectations were met: it is well written, full of interesting facts and information, and lovely pictures.
I loved to discover some less known Middle Age works as much as I liked the historical part.

This book is well written and entertaining.
Even if it's the third in a series I had no problems in understanding the plot and the characters.
The cast of characters is lovely and well written. The world building is interesting, not too complex and easy to understand.
This book kept hooked till the last page and it's a page turner!

I liked the first book in this series and I liked this one.
It's a nice read with a likeable cast of characters and a lovely settings.
The book was entertaining and fun to read.
On the plus side there were the development of relationships between the characters and the introduction of Fiona's sister.
On the other side the mystery seemed to take the backseat to what was going on in the heroine life and the paranormal element was a bit lacking.
A good book, more women's fiction than mystery, that can be read as a standalone.
Recommended.

I loved this book. It's the second one I read in this series and I think it was better than the previous one.
It took me a while to warm up to Gemma in the first one I read and I found her more "human" in this one.
The mystery is very good, full of twists and turns and possible culprits.
It kept me guessing till the end and I like the way all the questions were answered.
The cast of characters is interesting and likeable, my favourite one is Moriarty the cat :)
A very good mystery, highly recommended!

A nice cozy full of Christmas spirit. It was the first in this series and I loved both the cast of characters and the settings.
The romance part seemed a bit weird and I keep wondering if it's a romance or a weird type of friendship.
The mystery was good and kept me guessing till the end.
A good book, perfect for Christmas time.
