This is a fascinating and enjoyable books. I loved the heroine, Bee, a very strong female character.
The style of writing was great, delivering well rounded characters and an engaging plot.
The book is well researched and it was great to learn about textile trading, the work of women and the historical period.
The romance was sweet and very traditional.
I will surely read other books by this writer as I liked so much this one.

A very entertaining and enjoyable cozy mystery. It's the first one I read in this series and really liked it.
The plot was somewhat unusual involving online harassment and cults. It was sound and engaging, keeping hooked til the last page.
The mystery was good, it kept me guessing till the end.
I loved the cast of characters and the setting.

I loved this book and cannot wait to read the next instalment in this series.
I think it's more of a fairy tale then a classical fantasy book, a mix of different styles and genres.
I loved how the mix works and how the plot develops at a fast pace.
The cast of characters was enchanting, I loved them and look forward to reading another book with all or some of them.
This is a book that kept me hooked till the last page and I was sad when it ended.

A nice traditional mystery, it aged well and it's quite entertaining.
It was slower than the first one but enjoyable.

A lovely and entertaining cozy mystery. I loved the well researched historical background and the lovely cast of characters.
The mystery was good, no plot hole, even if a bit slow at times. It was not hard to guess who culprit was but it was good to read about the twists and turns in the plot.
I really enjoyed the relationship between the two main characters, Fran reflections on divorce and women position as well as the cultural clash between her and her mother.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes cozy and historical mystery.
