A wonderful book, inspirational and full of food for thought!
It's poetic and very well written. It can suggest ideas for any type of spirituality, non only Christian.
Highly recommended!

I already read a couple of book in this series and found them delightful.
This one was enjoyable and fun to read but it's not the best in the series.
The humour I appreciated is present as well as the cast of lovely senior detective.
I found the part related to the young Tori a bit forced and Tori grated on my nerves.
There were parts were I laughed a lot and other that found a bit boring.
It took a bit before I was involved in the plot but when it started going I was hooked.
I hope to read other instalment in this series soon and I recommend this book.

I don't know how to classify this book, as it's a mix of fantasy/historical fiction/time travel/paranormal and other genres, but I can surely say it's a wonderful book.
I loved Paula Brackston and I had high expectations that were met.
I was hooked since the first pages and couldn't put it down, it was 2 am when I ended it.
The style of writing, the world building, the characters: everything was perfect and enthralling.
It's highly recommended and surely will be a best seller.

This one those book that you don't want to end. When I saw on my kindle I was at 80% I felt sad.
It's heartwarming, makes you feel good and it's lovely.
I was happy to meet again the cast of characters, Socrates the philosophical dog above all, and read about the changes in their life and the evolution in their relationships.
The mystery was very good and it was full of twists and turns. I cannot say it kept me guessing till the end but I was curious to understand why and how.
I hope there'll be a new instalment soon, please don't make me wait another year.

This is a cozy mystery darker than usual, with more suspense.
I never read any other books in this series and this was a great discovery.
I liked the cast of characters, the descriptions of the vet work and the plot kept me guessing and reading till the end.
An interesting reading, I look forward to reading the next instalment.
