I really liked this series and was happy when I was approved for this book.
It's always a lot of fun to read a new book in a series and meet again the characters you liked and see the evolution of their personal stories.
This is a very good mystery, well written, and an enjoyable read that kept me hooked till the last page.
I loved the cast of characters, the small town atmosphere and I loved the historical part as well as the description of the Carnival traditions.

The perfect Christmas story: it's heartwarming, makes you feel good and makes you feel the Christmas spirit.
I loved the settings and the characters.
The plot is cozy and tender and makes you wish to be in Evergreen.
I really loved this book, it was the perfect book for relaxing and escaping to another world.

I loved the concept behind the book and I loved the style of writing.
The different stories were sometimes a bit confusing but the book is enjoyable on the whole and I liked it.
It's romance with a literary flavour as the characters and the style of writing are more sophisticated.

I loved the cover and the description.
Unfortunately the book is quite slow and it takes a lot of time before things start going.
The characters and the settings are interesting but there're too many descriptions and this bored me.
Nevertheless I'm curious to see what the development in this series will be as there's a lot of potential.

An interesting and somewhat unusual book. I was expecting more on the magical side and less on the psychedelic one.

I had a lot of fun in reading the first instalment in this series and had a lot of fun in reading this one.
The cast of characters is lovely as usual, my favourite are the aunt and Figaro. The in-law from hell's really funny.
The mystery is solid, an interesting plot with no hole that keep you guessing till the end.
I hope that the love triangle will be solved because it could become boring in further instalments.

I loved this book and it was - BANG - being hooked since the first pages.
I read it as fast as I could as I was engrossed in the plot and wanted to know more.
A very good, fast paced and enjoyable thriller. It's well written, with a solid plot, and the characters are well written and interesting.
Even if there're other 10 books in this series I had no problems in understanding the characters and their relationship.
I will get the other instalments as I really liked this one.

The first book in this series was huge and this one has the same quality level.
It's well written, fast paced, and full of action. At times it's a bit too violent for my taste but I really liked it.
It's one of those book that makes you forget the passing of time.
A very good new fantasy author that confirmed the good impression of his first book.
