I really liked this book.
It is at the same time a fantasy novel, a love story and reflection on aging and being human.
Even if it is quite slow at times, it engage the reader and give food for thought on some of the big questions.
Really well written, it is well documented and fascinating in its travel amongst different ages.
Recommended.

This book is so cozy and lovely. I was attracted by the cat on the cover and it was the right choice.
I really enjoyed the plot, the characters both humans and pets (McGyver is so lovely). It is well written , with interesting characters and a nice plot.
It is a feel-good book that maintains all the promises.
Strongly recommended.

I like mysteries with cats, libraries and senior sleuth so this one was hypothetically a match made in heaven. I really enjoyed it: it was fun to read, with a really interesting plot.
I liked the humour, the funny cast of characters and the plot contains no hole and it kept me guessing till the end.
A very good start for a new series, I look forward to reading the next instalment.
Strongly recommended.

Even if I liked the plot and the settings, I did not liked the heroine that sometimes seems to be clueless and able to place herself into trouble.
Well written, interesting settings and cast of characters but not my cup of tea.

A good book even if it is a bit dated, especially in the way of writing.
Entertaining, a bit weird, a bit more adventurous than the typical mystery of the specific age.
It is not always easy to be involved but it is likeable.

I didn't read the previous books in this series so this was a wonderful discovery.
A very good mystery with an interisting cast of characters (both humans and pets), full of humour and well written. Even if it is the third in this series there were no problems to understand the characters and their relationship.
A great discovery, alredy purchased the other books and look forward to reading the next instalment.
