I usually enjoy books by this author and this one was no exception. This is a long series and it's the second story I read.
It was entertaining and I enjoyed the plot and the world building.

An epic story that I thorughly enjoyed: fast paced and action packed. Even if it's the last in series I loved what I read.

An interesting and unusual retelling of Cinderella with some Beauty and the Beast elements.
The story is told by a different POV and I liked the storytelling and the character development.

This type of collections is an excellent way to discover new sci-fi gems and new to me authors. There's a lot of fascinating and gripping story, Lavie Tidhar did an excellent job in selecting this hidden gems and this authors.
Some stories are more on the experimental side, some more classic. All of them are well done.

I'm not a huge fan of Amish romances but something in the blurb made me read this one and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I loved the fleshed out and complex characters, the heart warming and festive atmosphere, the sweet romance.
It's the first I read by this author and won't surely be the last.
