Not as good as the first one even if I enjoyed it. It's more historical fiction than paranormal thriller.
The author did a good job in writing the characters, the plot has hiccup but was entertaining.

This is an interesting historical fiction that mixes facts and fiction. There's a thriller side but it's the depiction of an age when fascism was seen as the barrier to stop bolshevism.
A violent age and this book talks about what happened, how the secret services used violence and fascist.
it's well written and interesting even if a bit disturbing at times.

This is an excellent retelling of a Holmes short stories and it's for younger readers. Even if I'm well over the target age I thoroughly enjoyed the storytelling and the story kept me hooked.

I love Angela Richman mysteries and loved this one, an unusual and entertaining story.
The plot is well developed and solid, the mystery kept me guessing, and I was glad to catch up with the characters.
The setting is well described and it was interesting to read about the hypocrisy and prejudice of the place.

The Georgette Heyer fan in me had a lot of fun in reading this novel as it's a perfect classic Regency romance.
There''re likeable and well developed characters, a compelling plot, a vivid and well researched historical background.
I rooted for the character and throughly enjoyed the story.
Can't wait to read another one.

This is a another good addition and i was glad to travel to Newfoundland and catch up with the characters.
