This is an excellent summer read: it's full of emotions, glamour, and well written.
I liked the fleshed out characters and couldn't help rooting for them, the glamorous setting, the plot that kept me hooked till the last page.
I look forward to reading other books by this authors.

I'm a fan of Charlaine Harris and liked most of her series but I found hard to connect to this book.
Maybe it's my mood or maybe it's the fact that the previous book I read was by a fantasy master I found this book confused, the characters a bit one-dimensional and the world building a bit disjointed.
Sometimes you can read parts that remind you her other works but that wasn't enough to made me appreciate this book.

It's the first book I read by JP Delaney and won't surely be the last.
I was attracted by the blurb and all my expectations were met as it's an enthralling, engrossing and entertaining book.
Everything is as it should be: the style of writing, the cast of characters, the plot.
I loved the mix of sci-fi and thriller, it worked wonderfully as I can say this is an excellent book that keeps you on the edge and never gives you respite.
Even if I'm not a huge fan of psychological thriller I look forward to reading other books by this author.

An excellent, fun to read and engrossing fantasy, it was a really pleasant book and I loved.
It's great to read a fantasy book that is light, well written and make you root for the characters.
And it's also great to read a fantasy book that makes you root for the characters and they're not killed in the next chapters.
I liked the plot that keeps you hooked, the fleshed out cast of characters, and the great world building.
As a lot of fantasy book are now very grim and full of gore this one was an excellent exception.
I look forward to reading other books by this author because there's a lot of potential.

One of the highlight of ARCs is that you are able to discover new amazing authors and series.
This is what happened with this ARC.
It's a fascinating, engrossing and entertaining story that kept me hooked till the last page.
I love Sibanda, a fascinating detective, as much as I liked the cast of characters.
The book is full of great description of Africa, the political and historical situation, and it keeps you hooked till the last page.
The mystery is great, full of twists and turns, and it keeps you guessing.
I loved the style of writing, the descriptions and the humour.
i look forward to reading other books in this series.
