I requested this ARC as I was attracted to the cover and the plot. I didn't know what Arkham Horror is nor read the previous novel.
Even if I won't start playing the Arkham Horror I will surely read the previous novel as I had a lot of fun.
The author did an excellent job in mixing Lovecraft, historical mystery, and fantasy.
The storytelling and the world building were fascinating and I liked the characters.

Two women divided by century, two women I liked and rooted for them.
It's an excellent historical fiction with some paranormal aspects. You don't know what's real or not, and it's hard to trust anyone when they think you're histeric.
The authro did an excellent job in developing plot and characters, the storytelling is excellent and the plot flows.
Riventing, compelling, and gripping.

I love everything related to King Arthur and the arthurian sagas so I was very happy to read this book as it's an unusual and interesting take on Arthur and Genevieve.

It was a very interesting read: it's entertaining and full of food for thought at the same time.
The uplifting, compelling, and well written story of a journalist and how she invented a story and the web of lies.
It's a reflection on the world of news and the story of a person whose only interest is work.
i liked the style of writing and the character.

I have some doubts about the historical accuracy, maybe the mother of a duke wasn't so openminded during the Belle Epoque, but I'm sure I had a lot of fun in reading this mystery and thoroughly enjoyed it even if I didn't read the rest of the series.
The mystery takes often the backseat to the romance but it's solid and kept me guessing.
Ella and the cast of characters are likeable and fleshed out, I liked the humour, and the storytelling. A fast paced story that kept me reading.

Raymond Chandler is one of my favorite writer and was a bit wary of reading this reboot of Marlowe.
I can say the author did an excellent job and he was able to recreate the character and not making me miss the original character.
It's an excellent thriller, there's plenty of humour and a riveting plot that kept me reading.
I can't wait to read other books by this author.

When you read an indie book, you must read to read an unknown quantity, something that can be from so-so to excellent. But you can also find some hidden gem like this book.
I’m no expert of children book but I know that this book made me smile, moved, and talked to my inner child bringing me back in time.
The author did an excellent job in delivering a compelling and riveting story featuring lovely characters and a fabulous world building.
I fell in love with the Hiole and when I turned the last page, I was disappointed because I wanted more stories and stay longer with the Frox and the other lovely characters.
I think it can surely be loved by children but it could also be the starting point of an excellent fantasy series.
I can’t wait to travel again to the Hiole.
