Nick&Nora is one of my favorite cozy series and I was more than happy to read a new mystery featuring this great investigators.
Nick is one of my fav cozy cats and Nora is a clever woman.
The mystery is solid and the story is fast paced.
It would have been a five star but
- Love triangle, I hate them and I hope it will be solved soon
- I can't stand Lacey, i find her a spoiled brat
- Nora seems to have a death wish at time
That said it's a highly entertaining and compelling story

Kane and Alton thrillers are always a gripping and entertaining read, this one was no exception.
It's gripping, tense, and fast paced. We see the weaker side of the MCs and discover something more about them.
The dual timeline works well and the plot is well developed.

Another gripping and entertaining historical mystery set in XIX century USA. I loved how the author develops the historical background and how it is vivid.
The mystery is solid, I was glad to catch up with the characters and they are as well developed as usual.

An excellent start for a new cozy series featuring an improbable and lovely couple of amateur detectives.
Francesca is extrovert and her social skills are quite good, Adam is an introvert IT genius who must start to face new people and talk to them.
I love these characters as they are likeable and fleshed out.
The plot flows and it's well crafted. I appreciated the storytelling, the solid mystery, the humour, and the character development.
I can't wait to read the next story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this historical mysteries that brought back the Golden Age atmosphere and mixes traditional mystery with folk horror.
I read it in one setting and enjoyed the well crafted plot and the interesting characters.
The mystery is solid, full of twists and turns, and kept me guessing.
Even if it's not the first in this series it can be read as a stand alone.

A good story, well written and entertaining. I loved the Cat and the story with the stray and found the mystery well plotted.
Can't wait to read another story
